Design Challenge:
Christian Scott Ltd., one of Scotland's most ambitious cashmere brands, approached Touch Interactive to develop their e-commerce web site and simultaneously re-position their brand as a trusted British company and one worthy of its share it the lucrative cashmere e-commerce market. As an up market brand Christian Scott was particularly interested in capturing the American and Japanese market, who appreciate the distinct quality of Scottish cashmere and its manufacturing heritage.

Design Solution:
Touch Interactive first developed the new brand identity which reflected Christian Scott's Scottish heritage and status as an up market international brand. Unique in its design and with hints of quality and experience the new identity was reflected throughout the new web venture from the web site itself through to the product packaging, advertising and stationary.

With the brand identity now complete Touch Interactive went to work on the first stage of the site's design: designing the web site's appearance and interaction ensuring the overall look and general quality enhanced Christian Scott's brand value. From this the second stage was to develop the e-commerce part of the web site ensuring it remained simple to use and comprehensive to execute. Lastly we went to work editing and adding over 100 product photographs, some we photographed ourselves, before testing and enhancing the design on various computer systems.

“When we first launched the site we were overloaded with compliments, some of which we have included on the front of the web site.Vogue even asked us if they could recommend our web site for free in their magazine.Thanks to your overall design skills,search engine and marketing strategy, and in particular the work you did for us in the Washington Post we have now increased our turnover by 20%".
