1) Who are Touch Interactive?
Founded in 1999 Touch Interactive is an Industrial Design and Interaction Design company and the trading name of Christian Mark Rodland. The company designs products, interactions, digital media, cgi and product design for film.
2) Where are you based?
I mainly work in London for London based clients but can often be found in Scotland, Spain and Norway. The current postal address is:

3) What design services do you offer?
Products & Interactions:
• haptic interfaces, computer peripherals, electronic enclosures, hardware/software design and brand integration, future concepts

4) How BIG are you?
Small in numbers. BIG in ideas.
Touch Interactive is the trading name of Christian Mark Rodland. As a flexible one-man ltd company I work on site, off site, in the UK and abroad, for clients direct and for large and small design consultancies as a designer/project manager/art director/freelancer. I also take on and/or manage freelancers if and when a project requires it.

6) How much do you charge?
Depends entirely on the project (type, complexity, requirements, manpower needed, timescale and responsibilities). Typical rates for my own services are between £200 and £350 per day.
Cost can also be per project basis, with payment made in stages of development.
7) What makes you different?
For me, individual skills and determination are the key powers that effect design. No two designers will create the same product, interaction or service. Therefore I would first hope that the work should speak for itself.
Secondly, the integration of industrial design and interaction design has been taken on by few, when the importance of this for future products and interactions become more relevant with the development of new hybrid products and services. Few specialise in the integration of industrial design and interaction design. Touch Interactive, as the name suggests, does.
8) What are your design limitations?
None that I can think of. There are many projects that take more than one individual to complete, though this has never been a problem before, since I have contacts with many designers who have worked with me in the past.
